How to Request Account Deletion
If you would like to delete your GoWitness account and associated data, please follow these steps:
- Send us a request — Use the contact form below or email us directly at info@hrjsoftware.com. Include the email address associated with your GoWitness account.
- Verification — We will verify your identity to protect your account from unauthorized deletion requests.
- Deletion processing — Once verified, your account and data will be deleted within 30 days.
- Confirmation — You will receive an email confirming that your account and data have been deleted.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon processing your account deletion request, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Account information (name, email address)
- User-generated content and submissions
- Usage data and app activity history
- Preferences and settings
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion for the following reasons:
- Transaction and billing records — Retained for up to 90 days to comply with financial and tax regulations.
- Anonymized and aggregated analytics data — Data that has been de-identified and cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
- Legal compliance records — Data required by law may be retained as mandated by applicable regulations.
